It’s also home to the old-fashioned Family Kingdom amusement park and the SkyWheel, the country’s tallest Ferris wheel.

Myrtle beach, South Carolina

Myrtle Beach is a city on the Atlantic coast of South Carolina. It is the hub of the 60-mile Grand Strand. Known for its celebrity golf courses, Myrtle Beach has a wide variety of attractions, including a beachfront boardwalk with restaurants, arcades, and souvenir shops. It also has the country’s tallest Ferris wheel and an old-fashioned amusement park.

The city’s tropical climate is typical of the Gulf and South Atlantic coast. There is ample sunshine year-round, with more than two thousand hours per year. The city also has numerous dunes, which protect the beach from erosion. The town has a population of more than 35,000 people.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is a vacation destination and the heart of the Grand Strand. With its wide, sandy beaches, golf courses, outlet-style shops, and dolphin tours, it is a great destination for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. The weather in Myrtle Beach is warm year-round, making it a great place to spend the winter.

Myrtle Beach Hotels Oceanfront

Myrtle Beach is an iconic all-American beach destination, and the best place to stay while visiting the area is an oceanfront hotel. The site has everything you need to make your trip unforgettable, from beaches to thrilling amusement parks and oceanfront boardwalks. The best part is that you can stay on the beach, just a short walk from the ocean, and still enjoy the city.

Many oceanfront Myrtle Beach hotels offer a wide variety of amenities, such as water parks, lazy rivers, and upscale dining options. Some of the best ones even feature on-site spas and fitness centers for your enjoyment. These hotels are perfect for families, as they feature kids’ programs and facilities like mini-golf, basketball courts, pirate ship playgrounds, and indoor water parks.

One of the best oceanfront Myrtle Beach hotels is the Hampton Inn & Suites. It offers many amenities, including free breakfast, parking, and a free shuttle to the Myrtle Beach International Airport. The rooms also feature ocean views and pull-out sofas or bunk beds. You can also enjoy premium HD channels in the rooms, free Wi-Fi, and a living room.

Myrtle Beach Safari

One of the world’s premier private wildlife facilities, Myrtle Beach Safari allows you to get up close and personal with endangered species. Proceeds from your tickets to the safari benefit the Rare Species Fund, which funds international conservation efforts worldwide. You can expect to see everything from African elephants to lions and tigers.

The MB Safari is home to nearly 200 exotic animals. Among them are:

  • The world’s largest big cat.
  • A cheetah named Ramses.
  • A 3,000-pound elephant named Bubbles.
  • A tiger named Hercules.

You will also see an enormous liger, the offspring of a lion and a tiger.

Bhagavan “Doc” Antle, the safari owner, is accused of federal wildlife trafficking and money laundering. Among other things, investigators say he used animals stolen from different countries and sold them for meat. In addition to this, he also allegedly trafficked lemurs, cheetahs, chimpanzees, and other animals.

When visiting Myrtle Beach, there are many great places to eat. The vast array of eateries has led to the town’s designation as one of the Top 15 “restaurant-crazy” cities. The city is home to more than 1,700 dining establishments. That’s one restaurant for every 416 residents. Dining options range from romantic, family-friendly restaurants to mile-long buffets, exciting dinner shows, iconic burger joints, and incredible food festivals.

Besides seafood, there are a lot of other items to choose from. For example, you can find a wide variety of chicken and steak and a variety of side dishes. Of course, if you’re a seafood lover, you can’t go wrong with Hush Puppies, one of Myrtle Beach’s most beloved foods.

The beach is also home to a large variety of Italian restaurants. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual dinner with your family or a more elegant meal with your date, you’ll be spoiled for choice. It also has daily lunch specials and a classic dinner menu.
